Well, we are on our way in a little over 12 hours! Botswana here we come! Here is our team in its entirity. We had our packing party last night - it was fun to be together as a team and pack our tent bags. In case you didn't already know, we are camping for 2 weeks in the winter of Botswana. Don't worry we won't turn into little popsicles. Please join with our friends and family in praying for us daily as we take the Word of Truth and Life to the people of Botswana (specifically Francistown, Sebina, Tseshebe, and Maroko). We will be ministering to some of the 40% of the adult population who are living (and dying) with HIV and some who are not. Pray for conversations as we build relationships with our soon to be friends there, pray for rest and energy, pray for tough tummies (some of us can get sick easily), and pray most of all that in all things we would seek to glorify God above all else - no matter the circumstance.
We all love you very much and look forward to telling you all of the wonderful ways that God shows His goodness! Until then, check out the Botswana 2006 blog link to the left. We'll have dial-up internet there so be patient when checking that blog!
And, we're off!
