Tonight we had a great time with our students. We played some fun games and then we heard some stories of some of our leaders and how Jesus became their Lord and Savior. I love to hear those stories. Our two leaders who shared tonight had such different stories. It dawned on me that the story might play out differently but at the bottom, believers are all people who were sinners in need of God's grace for salvation. My favorite picture of the before and after of a believer is in Ephesians 2. It's fun to go through and see the "who I was before Christ" and "who I am in Christ now" - give it a try some time.
Then we spent time praying together. It was so fun for me to see so many of our students praying for one another - from our little bitty new 6th graders to our brand new seniors.
