This morning we were all going about our business at the office when the power flickered. Then it flickered once again. Then the power went out. Well, wouldn't you know that our lives are so dependent on technology and power that we couldn't work. We all poured out of our offices into the hallways. It was so fun to have a party in the light of emergency lights, candles and flashlights (yea Colonel!).
THE funniest thing happened... several of us were hanging out in the light coming in from the front door and one of the guys walked calmly down the hall and went into tornado pose. I guess you just have to know him also but it was sooooo funny! DBakes, you rock!
We took an early lunch break and then it was back to the office. Still no power so several of us gathered in my (our) office.
Everyone helped me with a student game...
And to the delight of the guys, we did a little tutorial on T9word for cell phone texting. I made some converts (to texting that is).A few minutes later the power was back on and we got back to our business as usual.
