Celebrating R's bday!
I couldn't pass up telling you this sweet story:R was walking outside and H followed him, bday card in hand.
"Pastor R, what are you doing?"
"I'm going to sit and relax."
"Oh. I thought you might like these stickers."
She hands him the card with stickers on the outside. Then, without giving him the card starts to point out the stickers and carefully peel them away so she can open the card. She takes the card out and give him the envelope to show him the other stickers that she stuck inside, describing each sticker (in a very fast preschool speech). Then she tries her best to open the card that was apparently child-proof. "Pastor R" helped her open it and then read it and gave her a big hug.
Doesn't that just tickle your funny bone and warm your heart?
