Saturday morning it was time for me to fill my empty gas tank. It also happened to be when people seemed to have gone into panic mode with the prospect of big, bad hurricane Ike coming to blow the oil fields down in Texas. $16.25 and FIVE minutes later, I was the proud owner of 4 whole gallons of gas.
Today is Tuesday and this is what we saw on the way home from work today... an empty gas station. I guess too many people went into panic mode. My parents said that a lot of the gas stations where they are are also out of gas.(Special thanks to guest photographer, Amber Lunn)
