Summer camp was amazing (and over a month ago)!
There was a talk titled, "Death to Apathy" in which the students were challenged to DO, to SHOW the love of Christ. The girls in my small group decided that they wanted to do a teacher drive (give teachers supplies since they usually have to provide it all themselves). One of the girls decided to head up organizing this project. Money was going to be one big issue.
The week after we returned I heard of a SummitLIFE group that wanted to use their Week of Hope money ($100) to do the exact same thing.
I immediately used the social network of Facebook to connect those two.
And tonight it all came together!
